TF2 Map list!

What maps are on the server that you guys like or dont like?

What maps do you think should be added?

Matt and I were talking and we wish we had "rat_alpha" Its a cp map we found when we pirated the game... XD I don't know if its a balanced map but its worth a look. Its hard to find but if you do... Its tons of fun to play.

i have a later version of that map. i can definately throw it on, as i see it has quite the following on fps banana. there is actually even a "rats style" tf2 mapping contest on there now!

I haven't really ever spent time looking at tf2 maps but there seem to be some really neat ones on FPSbanana.

Some of the payloads look iffy but I liek payloads!

I'm really not picky about the maps as long as it gives me an objective to complete. For example, I'd play a pl/cp map over arena any day of the week, even sa...su...mon...friday?

CTF gets a bit repetitive and boring after a while, too...

Then there's custom maps, and that's a whole different animal. I've never really found a custom map that I've enjoyed to play more than once.

Some nonsense maps like, oh, I don't know... MARIO KART?

ok so some people may hate this,

but last night, i played a melee map. these are pretty fun actually, great for fooling around in aslong as no one is a loser spawn camper. melee_punchout_v3 is cool but there are others.

if you can find it i remember this 1 map orange X v6 its nothing like the 1st 3 but its still sniper friendly and has a more evened out map design two towers instead of 1, i also remember another really sweet map snow bridge thralles its a really big map with 4 cap points with 1 placed in the center which is the hardest to cap I played my very 1st game on snow bridge thralles and was ranked 2 out of 3k so i would really own at that map lol and i think our other sniper players would enjoy it as well since most of the time all they want to be is sniper : ) including me ill get you the full name of both of these once i find them

yes, most custom tf2 maps are piles of dogshit, but i am always open to suggestions.

well both of these arnt lol the size of snow bridge is amazing but not to big and u cant go wrong with orange maps lol

you can. i am trying to keep the tf2 and reg css orange map free. no offense, but the only way i can play a devtexture map is in gungame

ps. i also have just heard of a gungame mod for tf2, if i can find the plugin and get it to run just with orange maps (which i think is quite possible), i will throw them int he map list.

what the hell IS gungame? the site is useless. All i know is that it is a CSS mod.

you can't buy any guns at all during the game, and you start out with the gun you are given and you have to kill someone with that gun and when you do, you get a new gun, so basically you just kill someone with every gun then you end the game by knifing someone after you've killed with all the guns

anyone played the omaha beach map in tf2?

Anything CTF is kind of boring, to be honest. I'd suggest Dustbowl, or Goldrush.

Although if this community is a small one (Which I assume it is), I'm all up for CTF of any kind.
